What Should a Sample Look Like?

  • Asbestos
  • Mold
  • Lead

For asbestos sampling laws and regulations, please refer to your state’s regulatory agencies. Most states require samples be taken by licensed asbestos inspectors.

Samples should be no smaller than 1”x1”, and no larger than 5”x5”.

For samples where that is not feasible (ie window glazing or caulking), samples should be between 1” and 6” in length.

We may be unable to process samples that do not meet these guidelines.

When using Cassettes please follow manufacturer’s instructions.
